Are you getting any flashing lights?
If you are, number the lights with 1 at the left and let me know which numbers are flashing.

No flashing lights today. I press and hold the "P" button to reset, it bleeps and then 3 short bleeps, the selected programme light stays on.
Sorry, there are so many things that can go wrong and cause this that it would be pure guesswork.
Without an error code there is no starting place.
I'll opt out of the question and open it to all experts again.
Someone may be able to help you.

Sorry, no humming noise. Just the 3 short bleeps when I reset, then the one sort bleep when i select a programme
Ok thanks for that. What you can try is scoop all the water out of the dishwasher then remove the lid and right hand side panel there you will see the drain pump remove the pump and make sure nothings stuck in there and that the impeller turns ok.
If thats fine the remove the front panel and make sure there is no loose wires or connections. Then try again if still doing the same then you might be best getting someone in to check it over as it could be a number of things that could be causeing this fault. But it will be worth while just checking the pump first.

Hi again.
I have the side off the dishwasher, put it on a "soak" programme and it actually worked. so I stopped it and tried it again - this time just the bleep and yes, there is a slight humming at the bottom.
The humming is probley the pump jammed up remove the pump and make sure its all clear in there and the impeller turns ok it should ping round. then retry again
let me know what you find.
