Question

The thermostat I just insstalled does not turn on the AC, warm air comes out when the AC is on. Model RTH6400. Red wire is connected to R, black to Y, green to G, white to W. Old thermostat was diconected when I removed it so I could not map the wires.

Hi,

 

Is there an RC terminal on the new stat ? Make sure you have a jumper between the R and RC terminal, let me know.

Yes there is an RC and the jumper is installed
