What is the question you have about the air flow?

The coil sits on top, then the blower, then the emergency heat. Is this correct? Do the coils get the cold air return before the blower

Accepted Answer

The return air should go through filter, through blower, electric coil, and the ac.coil last.. Some guys have made the mistake of sitting the down flow in first and then setting the ac on top. This is incorrect.

That is the set up for a Trane Heat pump? Mine has filter, then AC coil, then blower then, Electric heat. I dont see how to rearrange any other way. Trane Model TWE030C140B0

I stand corrected, I just perused some of the data and found a diagram of the unit with the filter first, then the coil fo ac then blower and then electric coils.
