Question

Hi
My Yamaha boat motor--a 175 on a 29 ft grady white is raising up--coming up into rest position on its own--without touching any controls

seems like a short

any idea where i'd look to fix or why this is happening.?

first see if the trim fluid is low or milky

if not then the pressure relief valve is bad in trim pump

where would I find/look for these fluids in the motor?


the motor will go up and down by using the switch but then comes all the way up on its own while running
