Optional Information

Already Tried:
I have read http://www.dvatp.com/bmw/diy/oxygen_sensors and saw how it could be done.

I have also checked the parts referred to by the article and see that I can buy them online.

Answer

Hi, yes you can change them fairly easily, if you're handy.
You'll need a 22mm wrench.
They are removed from under neath the vehicle, so you'll will need a lift, or a floor jack and jack stands.
See this link: http://www.bimmerboard.com/forums/posts/67908
The link you posted is for an e36 3 series.
You can buy them on ebay as a universal, and just cut and splice the old connector on. Or You can go to www.fap99.com
They have them for $50 each.
Good luck

Thank you. Just one thing.

The part on fap99.com? Is it the following:
Manufacturer: BOSCH
Part Number: BSH056925
Description: Oxygen Sensor

I assume the one at autozone (If I wanted to buy it at a store) is:
http://www.autozone.com/autozone/catalog/parts/partsProduct.jsp?displayName=Oxygen+Sensor&itemId=prod61261&navValue=14200117&parentI d=cat30056&productId=232200&fromString=search&itemIdentifier=232200_0_0_&filterByKeyWord=13559&categoryNValue=14299999&isSearchByPartNumber=true&categoryDisplayName=RoutineMaintenance&store=5713&skuDescription=Bosch/OxygenSensor&fromWhere=&searchText=13559&_requestid=150204

Accepted Answer
