Question
I have a 2003 90hp Johnson(Bombardier) Motor on back of a Stratos Bass Boat. Recently the motor started to sputter at low-end, stall at Idle, but is Fine at full tilt or high throttle. I believe it is the fuel filter, but am unable to locate it. I also notice it is a V4 with dual carbs. Any thoughts or suggestions

Hello. If you can't find a fuel filter, then you may not have one. Follow the fuel line from the tank all the way to the motor - if there is a filter it will be somewhere along the way. The more likely cause of your problem is dirty partially clogged carbureters, which will need to be disassembled and internally cleaned. A clogged fuel filter would make it worse at high speed, since it would restrict flow.
