Question

This ac has a built in 3 minute delay, cool air flows for three minutes, a warmer air will flow for the next five minutes, is this due to a wrong setting, or is their a setting to avoid the warmer air?

The unit is Fedder, and the model A6Y1857C-A, this is an apartment window with 12,000 btu.

If you have duty cycle feature turn it off

Is the duty cycle feature a part of the mode found on the remote, or is their a button found on the facing side of ac. We have also a temperature button, a fan speed, mode, money saver button, and a timer. We can't understand why thier is not a constant air flow of cooling air.

I believe its a feature biult into the control feature of thes unit and can be programed out

You might have to reprogram the energy mode so it works as normal AC unit

How does one reprogram an ac unit?

Well thru the remote and display on the newer models. I'm sorry but I cannot find anything on that model from fedders
