My oil pressure gauge on my 1986 Z28 Camaro seems like it is not working correctly. How can I tell if the oil pump is working ok.

Answer

You will need to do a oilpressure test to verify if it is actual low oil pressure or faulty sender/cluster. Here is a technical service bulliten released by GM on the issue. Let me know if you have questions. Thanks
