Question

hi i found a 1986 stratow V 269 boat for sale asking price is 3,700. when i go on line to look up the vaule in NADA there is no listing for this model. Do you know if this is the correct model and if so what a fair price would be for a boat in good working order.

Hello and thanks for using justanswer,

You typed Stratow, but I think you meant Stratos. In 86, they didn't make a 269, they made a 169 V. They didn't make a 269V until 1989.

If it's a '86 169v or a '89 269v, you can find the retail price in NADA. Keep in mind that NADA prices for the Stratos line do not include the outboard motor. You can price the outboards on NADA as well.

So, to answer your question, it is either the correct model and the wrong year, or an icorrect model and the correct year.
