Can you tell me the colors of your wires?

There is a white, red, yellow and a dingy white/beige coming out of the A/C unit. The model number is difficult to read but I believe it is 56ZP-698---301--

Do you have a green wire?

no green wire, just red, white, yellow, beige/dirty white

Accepted Answer

Usually the there is a green wire for the fan.

Red will be your 24 volt power and will connect to the r terminal.

Yellow is your cooling and will connect to y.

White is your heating and will connect to w.

I can only assume that the beige wire is your fan wire and will connect to g.

Make sure your power is off when you do this.
