Question

My question is about my geothermal 'water funace' MN# WXS031A101S..SN # FA6255..when I turn the T-stat from off to cool, the compressor runs for a few seconds, then shuts off..and the 'emerg. heat light' comes on..and I get no cooling..I think the 'reversing valve' is stuck in the heat mode..is there a way around the reversing valve, without harm to the system? Thanks for your help, Ted

Try jumpering 24 volts to the valve, first see if its energized already, then if it is not try it
