Question

there is a company called granite conversions that resurfaces your existing countertops with real granite with a 10 year warranty and claims no mess, no stress because there is no tearout to good to be true?

There is a procedure for installing granite tiles over an existing laminate countertop. The granite pieces are slightly bigger than 12X12 and the edge pieces come intact with a bullnose attached. There will be some thin grout lines that are slightly visible so it is not like having a continuous granite slab on your countertops.

This is a good way to renovate your kitchen though without the additional cost of ripping out the existing tops.
