Question

I just got a new steveco fan control center to replace the one on my Trane XE 60 furnace. Since there are extra wires on the back of the unit that I don't use, I am not sure which ones should be used. I think I must have one wrong since it doesn't work. When I took the old one off, one wire that runs to the motor was disconnected. I don't know which wire it should match up with. I have been trying to find diagrams for this that shows the fan wires, but can't seem to find what I need. Thanks.

Pink. It runs down to a plug that ultimately goes to the motor.

Hi,

Its probably a speed tap , you probably have two speeds already connected so you won't need that one. Do you have a red and black one connected that makes it way to the motor ?

Thanks

I don't have any of the red ones that are part of the fan control center used right now. I have the brown wire connected since it matched one of the wires still connected to the old one. I am sure this wire goes somewhere, but I couldn't tell which one it was plugged into. The new one has the wires attached where the old one had them where you plug them in.
