Hello,

Hamster urine can be white and somewhat thick. Normal hamster urine can look like this, or it can be yellow and watery, or yellow and somewhat thick. A lot of the appearance depends on how much water the hamster has been drinking. If your hamster is eating and behaving normally, this isn't anything to worry about.

However, you do want to be sure your hamster is passing normal brown droppings. Put him in a container lined with paper towels or newspaper and wait for him to pass some droppings. It shouldn't take long. If there are normal droppings, then you can be sure that what you saw is urine. If you have more questions, just let me know by clicking on REPLY.
