my mercruser 4.3L motor just will not get power to my dash any more we took off the carb. cover to add starter fluid to the carb and saw a spark and now we do not have any power back at the key switch of any of the dash. Any help?

The engine is on a Glastron boat year 2000

Hello.. Look at diagram below. Behind the carb you will see bracket(#15) has a 50 amp breaker(#16) mounted to it. The button is red and has 50 in the center of it ,press it in to reset it. If this does not do it get back with me on this same post. Thanks!!

I saw that and tried to reset it but it was not tripped. I put my omh meter across the terminals and it said it was ok I even tried bypassing it and that still did not work.

Hello.. Since you have a meter check to see if you have 12 volts at breaker. If not check the 90 amp fuse on starter (#8) in diagram to see if blown.
