Oops - sorry I missed that.

If the steering is out of alignment (steering wheel not straight) then that is going to be something mechanical. If you can jack the front of the car up and set it on jack stands you can check for play in the steering & suspension components. Firmly but slowly shake both front wheels holding them at 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock, than also at 6 and 12.

The wheels will turn left and right but there should nor be any freeplay in any direction. If you feel freeplay, see if you can see where the play is. Tie rod ends (inner or outer), ball joinrs, control arm or steering rack bushings. If you take it to a reputable alignment shop for an alignment check they will usually do this as part of the check.

For the light, what you are seeing in the manual is trying to reset steering angle position. I would get the mechanical alignment repaired first, then go after the electronic reset.
