I have a pontiac sunfire 1998 that just stopped running while driving and would not start again. At first it would just click as if the starter sylenoid when bad. Now its just silent what do you think it is?

Sounds like you have a issue with the alternator as it ran the battery down cause the car to die and now wont give out enough power to turn the car over. You should try jumping the car with jumper cables if it turns over and starts then your issue is with the alternator if not then you may have a issue with the starter. thanks

battery starter and alternator are all good battery is fully charged. Lights radio everything is working

Hello i would first see if the engine turns over at the crankshaft pulley with a socket and ratchet and turn it over by hand - how many miles on car ? and also is it the 4cyl? if the mptor turns by hand - did you have the recall performed? on ignition thermal limit switch? also if it does turn by hand tap on starter with a small hammer while having a friend crank it - be safe in doing this! of it will not turn over you either broke or threw the timin chain please let me know how you make out
