Question

I have two outside garage lights and one light by front door all are on one switch,so i purchased a combination switch and want to be able to turn on the front door light only with
one switch and the other switch the garage lights. How do i wire this switch which has 2 black
screws w/ connecting tab and the other side with separate brass screws?

How many wires are in the switch box and what color are they ?

one black wire comes from an incoming line to terminal on switch and the other black wire on switch goes to a number of black wires w/ wire nut

Hi

I don't think you are going to be able to do this because the lights are daisy chained together
Another words the feed comes from the switch and goes to the first light and then on to the other light
Now if you can run another wire to the switch box from the furthest light away then we can do it
