Question

I'm trying to change the oil on a 2002 Honda ARX1200T3 4 stroke jet ski, and having trouble getting the dirty oil out of the motor. Is there a special pump, or other method, of doing this?
Thanks,
ET

Hello,

Yes you need a pump to remove the old oil. They are avaliable through various outlets and retailers. Here is a link to one that the average person would need at home for the job. There might be cheaper ones avaliable if you look, but this is way cheaper than the ones I use so im not sure if a quality one can be much cheaper. And as far as the service its self, run the boat till the oil is warm, then change the filter and suck oil from sump tank. Make sure you run the engine first to get all the oil out(your motor is a dry sump) Let me know if you need anything else.
