Question

Have a problem with spark on my golf car, 1993 Club Car carryall with kawasaki FE290 engine. I Bought a new coil and gapped .0010 and it will not spark. I cleaned the magnet on the flywheel, disconnectected the kill wire, tried 3 plugs that worked on other engines. When I pull off the spark plug cap and hold the wire almost touching ground it has a very very weak spark

Hello. Im Bobby

If you have the kill wire unplugged and the air gap is correct and you still dont have spark then it can only be 1 of 2 things.

Your new coil is no good.

or

The magnet on the flywheel is bad, I have only seen this happen a few times but it can happen.
