If you can take the keypad off of the top of the phone, you will see the metal contact on the phone. Somewhere between the contact point ( where you press) and the board two of the contacts are touching. If they are bent then you have to get a new one. Maybe a new phone. You mihgt just need to clean the phone keypad. Did you get it wet? if so you might be dealing with corrosion. Post the type of phone.....
