Question

Cat has large boil/pimple om face,grey with pink head,facial hairs sprout from it. Weeping a little but does not seem to cause great discomfort. Can you help.

11 years,yes he is eating quite well and has had this for 3 days.

Hi Roger,

 

I am sorry your boy has this issue. It can be a abscess from a bad tooth or oral sore.

 

As long as he is eating fine I would not be overly concerned.

Apply almost hot, damp compresses to get it to drain. Then plain neosporin.

 

If it does not clear up it is best to have his vet see it.

 

Please let me know how he is doing.
