HERE IS MY QUESTION: I AM WORKING ON A COLEMAN MOBLIE HOME FURANCE WITH AC INSTALLED ON IT. THIS OLD UNIT HAS THE COTROL BOX MOUNTED BY THE FAN WITH THE HEAT AND COOL SWITCH AND THA MANUAL / AUTO SWITCH. WITH THE THERMOSTAT DISCONNECTED ,WHEN YOU PUT THE COOL SWITCH IN THE COOL POSITION THE FAN RUNS CONTINOUSLY. IT SHOULD BE OFF UNTIL THE THERMOSTAT WOULD TURN IT ON.I CAN UNHOOK THE 24VAC FROM THE FAN RELAY AND THE FAN WILL GO OFF. THAT CONTOL BOX HAS A SEQUENCER AHEAD OF THE FAN RELAY,TRIED A NEW ONE SAME PROBLEM. GOT AN IDEA WHAT IS BAD TO KEEP THE 24VAC APPLIED TO THE FAN RELAY. THAT SEQUENCER HAS 150 OHM RESISTOR ACROSS 2 TERMINALS AND IT CHECKS GOOD. WAIT FOR YOUR ANSWER. THANKS

Answer

The auto off on switch for the fan jumps 24vac from R - Rc to the G terminal and allows the fan to run whether or not thermostat is calling or disconnected from base this is normal. It will also start when you have a call for cooling which allows 24vac From Rc to Y & G
and for heat it allows 24vac from R or Rh to W
