I am unable to turn on my furnace and air conditioner and the fan won't go on. I checked the switch on the furnace, checked the breaker, put new batteries in the thermostate and even bought a new thermostat. The furnace is only 3 years old. Any suggestions?

Hello, <br /><br />does anything happen if you turn the fan switch to "on"?

you may have blown a low voltage fuse on the circuit board. This can be caused by damaging the small thermostat wire that runs out to the ac or other problems in the low voltage line. The fuse id on the circuit board in the furnace. Check that and let me know. It is a small blade fuse.

Sure, I will leave this question open for you and all the follow up you need. This time of year I see a lot of cut 2 wire and weedwacking damage to the control wire.
