Question

I have a 2003 mercury 200hp, carburator engine. Starts cold good and runs good. I run it for 30 minutes, turn it off. 30minutes later it keeps shutting off, have to keep it in fast idle. If I put in gear and go forward at idle speed, it shuts off

Well from the sounds of it, your carbs are a little gummed up from gasoline

First before pulling carbs, change the spark plugs and add some fuel stabilizer, then go run the boat
