Question

i have a 225 opitmax and it burned a piston from a bad injecter and if the other piston aint hurt the other piston still look new can i just change that one the dealer sad that is not good the motor only has about 500 hours it is a 2003 model i let it sit up for a long time about 15 months and it ran for about ten minutes before it burned that piston the dealer said it ran leandoes that sounds right

Yes your dealer is correct about the cylinder being lean and damaging the piston, You can rebuild the engine using only one new piston but it would have to be an oversize piston and that cylinder would have to be bored oversize to fit the oversize piston. The oversize piston would weigh the same as the standard size so there would be no balance issue but the engine would have to be torn down to a bare block for the machine work to be done and it is time consuming. Your best bet is to go with a factory re-manufactured powerhead, they come with a one year warrenty and a rebuild at the dealer may only be 90 days.
