HAVEN'T ATTEMPTED ANYTHING YET.
UNDERSTAND MAY BE LAMP FOR ENGINE LIGHT, THOUGH IT DOESN'T LIGHT UP INDICATING THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM, JUST AN OBD FAILURE RESULT AT THE EMISSIONS STATION EARLIER TODAY.

Hi thank you for question hope this helps.

This code is for the Check engine light not working. Is the check engine light coming on when you turn the key on? The light should come on for a few seconds then turn off after starting.
P1623 Diagnostic Lamp Power Stage Fault

Things that could cause this.
Check engine light bad needs to be replaced.
The circuit powering the light is bad.
One or two wires coming from the computer are broken.
