1998 Check Transmission light came on today on the way to work. On the way, thru a T storm and street water, 15 miles of interstate driving. I lose the radio, lights dim, no speedometer reading and its not digital, dial type. Not sure if transmission and power are a related problem,

Already Tried:
Nothing. Will hook up a handheld diagnostic computer to it in the morning, to see if it has a Check Transmission code. I barely could pull in a slightly slope driveway, electrical power was about gone. When I shut it off it would not restart.

Answer

try and figure out what electronics or fuse box got wet and dry them out asap. I would also apply electronics safe spray or corrosion inhibitor. Once everything is dry, see what works and what doesn't, you may very well be ok when it dries out.
