Question

my washer stopped suddenly before draining and spinning. won't drain on any settings. will agitate so I don't think it is circuit or electrical issue. is pretty old, but has been working fine until yesterday. model # LSV8245AWO. Any thoughts? My main goal is to get the water out at this point!

lets see if we cant get the water out ,,, there are a screw in each end of the control panel ,,, remove those and tile the control panel up and back ,, there is a wiring plug for the lid switch ,, unplug it with the washer unplugged and take a paper clip and make a U and stick it into the two outter plugs on the plug that runs from the control panel, set the washer to spin and plug up and turn on ,,, and let me know if this works and i can go from there fixing this unit

I'm afraid after "take off the control panel" we are lost in the maze of wires and completely unsure what to do.
