my lovebirds has been making the nest for almost 2 weeks in their nest box but never laid any eggs yet so how long will it take?

but the thing is female doesn't let him mate most of the time but why she is making nest if she is not going to lay any eggs

Thank you for getting back to me. At age one, most lovebirds have just reached the age of sexual maturity, so it's possible your female's ovaries have not produced viable eggs , or that your male isn't producing viable sperm just yet. Nesting behavior can occur without a successful mating. Once a successful mating has occurred, the female usually will begin laying eggs 3 to 10 days later. She'll lay one egg every other day until her clutch is complete. At that point, she'll set on the eggs to incubate them. Twenty-two to twenty-five days later, they'll begin hatching, if they're fertile. At this point, I would continue feeding the best diet possible, and just be patient. your birds are still young. there's nothing you cand o to hurry them along anyway.
