People live extremely normal lives with colostomy bags. If there is a problem with leaking this needs to be addressed by the physician who placed the bag there. I doubt that a primary care doctor will be able to help. I would call the physician who put the bag there and explain the situation. He/She may have a nurse who specializes in these problems. Nurses working for these doctors will probably be who you are sent to because they will know how to fix this more times than the doctor because people call and see them for such problems more often than the doctors. Dont continue dealing with this, it doesnt have to be frustrating, you should get help and have it fixed. Hope this helps, and I hope that things get dramatically better in the near future.
