Question

My fuel guage in my 2003 3500 series only works when the tank is full and diwn to about thee quarters then goes to emty and stays there.The truck is a duramax diesel. Thank you!   Al.

Hi, Welcome to Just Answer!

 

The problem is with the fuel level sending unit that is mounted in the gas tank. Removal of the gas tank is required to access the top of the tank. This is a common failure issue on the chevy trucks.
