91 chevy lumina euro 3.1 dim noid lights, cranks, fires but wont stay running for more than 8 secs, changed ECM, ign mod , fuel press is 40 psi. also noid lights are not flashing . . probaly just flickering and are pretty dim . . . they get brighter with throttle opening

have you check the injector resistance?did everything get replaced for a no start or did the no start happen after replacing something.

actually i have just ohmed one injector ( the one whose harness connecter not covered by the ) it is about 12 ohms . . . this is the injector that i NOIDed . . dim light . . maybe a flicker . . the lights intensity varies as throttle is modulated . . . ( the only way to make the car run longer than 8 secs is using starting fluid) . . .Do you want me to ohm all the injectors . . ? ? it would require me to remove the pleum thingie . . .

the most reliable way is to pull the intake plenum.

sometimes you can get to 1 by the oil fill cap and another on back corner by alternator.

if 1 injector shorted bad enough computer will shut down driver .

12 ohms is around normal. 12-13.

normaly if one is less than 5 car start and die or wont start.

i have just ohmed and noided the injector/connector bu the oil cap . . . wont be able to pull off the plenum by tomm evening . . . .

All of the injectors should ohm about the same. have a high failure rate if 1 is bad i would replace all.

OK , so i removed the Plenum and ohmed all the inkectors

here are the resistances in ohms

injector 2, 4 and 6 are 9.5 , 12.1 and 12.5 respectively

injector 1, 3 and 5 are 11.0 , 12.4 and 5.1 respectively ;)

Im smiling as i type this . . but what should i do now ?

And answering your question from post# 2 . . evrything got replaced after a no start condition . . . actually the car had issues with starting when hot . . . it would only start when it got cold . . . idle was rough and the only way to drive away hot . . .was to use starting fluid . . ( huge quantities of it) to initially make the engine run for 10-15 secs . . .. after this the car would run fine . . .

I would replace all

Linders tech on gasoline alley in indianapolis use to have great price but i havent bought in awhile. use to be able to get whole set for what 1 would cost at dealer.

getting 6 injectors (from autozone or adv auto) will cost me half the car Money mouth ( bought this one for 700 bucks 2 years ago) . . will try just getting #2 and #5 . . . will use injector cleaner additive a few times . . . if that helps . . . . anyways . . thanks a lot for your time . . .
