Question

What product can we use to seal our outdoor oak bar top? We want at least an a one inch clear acrylic finish.

Answer

You will need a two part epoxy finish!. I will will not recommend a name brand as many stores do not carry the same brands. It would commonly be refered to as "bar-coat". or "decopage" varnish. It is mixed and then poured on to the top in (up to) 1/4" increments, I would rather see you use a marine varnish, as it will hold up better than any of this type of product. Many coats of marine varnish will give you a long lasting finish, whereas the "bar-coat" products can(will) chip and or fail over time
