Question

I'm replacing a spark plug on a 99 f250 with a v10, and the old spark plug was a half thread and the new one the auto parts gave me was a full thread, they checked it twice and thats the model called for. Whats up with the change, and will it be okay?

Hi XXXXXXXXXX.

Thank you for asking your question on JustAnswer

They will work but, will likely be a problem later on and if you are wise, you will use OE motorcraft spark plugs as the V 10 is known for taking the threads out with after market spark plug.
