MY 1993 BBW 740 stalls frequently when it come to a stop. We've replaced the idle valve. It still stalls. Any ideas?

Already Tried:
Had it checked twice and replaced the idle ( + some other word ) valve. It still stalls, particularly if I come to a quick stop. Occasionally has trouble starting, but always eventually starts. My mechanic can't find any reason for that problem either.

Hello XXXXX, the first thing I would check for is a vacuum leak. It is a common issue with these cars. Check the rear of the intake at the pcv cover. I would also check the front throttle body seal. The next thing I would check are the spark plugs Make sure they are not covered in oil which is caused by leaky valve cover gaskets. Let me know your findings. Thanks.
