Hi XXXXXXXXXX. Thank you for asking your question on JustAnswer.
Few items to check:
Unplug Mass Air flow sensor . If it runs better sensor is bad
Check coolant temp sensor resistance: 68 deg 2200 2900 ohms 175 deg 280 ohms
Fuel pressure 37-43
Check Fuel pressure reg for fuel leak. Pull vacuum hose from engine off and look for raw fuel.
Thank you again for trusting us with your problem. Please reply as soon as possible so that we can finish answering your question.
Jim, Diconnecting the Mass Air Flow Sensor had little effect on performance and the car still died after a minute or so of running. Resistance of the temp signal on a 80 degree morning is 1800 ohms. The car doesn't remain running long enough to test at running temp. All the vac. lines are clear. When the car is running-performance is perfect.
Thanks Stan
I use a propane bottle, valve attached and hook a 3 ft 5/32 or so vacuum line. Place it iin the air cleaner inlet. When vehilce starts to die add propane and see if you can keep it running. If you can we need to look at fuel . If not then, crank sensor, ign module, coil , electrical side. Jim
