Answer

Hello Customer!
This is indeed an available mini pill. It is in the newest class which is why they are not familiar with it but less side effects than most others so I would request they order it. The active ingredient is desogestrol and there are no other ones that provide just this in the same dose.
Good Luck
Hope this helps!

Have you ever prescribed it or know where it is available?

Answer

Are you in the US or England?
I have not prescribed it as I don't know if it is available in the US. It is used in GB and I just assumed you are trying to get it there. The newest progesterone only pills here are the class 3's.
It is also available in Canada and you can try online pharmacies there.
I tend to write mostly Camila. This is norethindrone which is an older progesterone.

I'm in the US. Is there a differency between the progesterone only pills that are available in the US currently? I 'm breastfeeding and want the one that is the most effective without bad side effects.

Accepted Answer

The others here are pretty similar in that they are norethindrone. They are not as new as the desogestrol. They can have more side effects and need to be taken as close to 24 hours apart (cerazette has more of a window).
You will have to do the minipill if you are breast feeding and I find most patients have less breakthrough bleeding and water retention with Camila.
CONGRATS!
