I have a 2000 chrysler cirrus lxi, and need the distributor replaced. The quote I'm getting is $800+. Is thie reasonable?

Its a v6 engine

That is actually a pretty good price, the list price from Mopar is $1055.00 just for the distributor plus labor. The 2.5L V6 in your Cirrus is made by Mitsubishi, so all the replacement parts come through Mitsubishi, making them very expensive.
