Question

i have a folder on my c drive where a scan utility directs my scans from my scanner. I need them to be directed to a folder on my H drive and then have the files in the c drive deleted. I can't map to the folder because the utility can not be started in desktop mode only in service mode. any ideas?

hi steve,

thanks for looking at my question. I think i can install the utility on my H drive. I will try this today and let you know. the kyocera scan utility has to be running in order for it to diret the scanned documents to a folder that you set up on what ever drive you want. I may have a port problem (port 21 ) may not be open or may not be able to be opened on my H drive. Port 21 is the port that the utility needs. I was wondering if there is any software that i could get or have written that would automatically forward any file sent to the folder on the c dive to the folder on the H drive and then delete the c drive file.
