I'm not sure. The name of it is AP Cat by design Model # 602207. It is a high flow cat

Hi,

I dont have their catalogue- you need to look on the shipping paperwork, or call them and find out if its an OBD2 - compliant TWC(three-way catalyst) converter. If it isnt, then it will continually set the same fault code as it doesnt meet federal requirements for emissions reductions which is being picked up by the downstream O2 sensor.

If it is OBD2- compliant TWC converter, then you need to check for exhaust leaks between the manifold and converter, check wiring on downstream O2 sensor for signs of coming in contact with exhaust pipe and melting. If these are good, then the downstream O2 sensor needs to be tested- it can set this code as well.

Also, there is a possibility that with the high-flo cat, the PCM/ECM needs to be updated or re-calibrated- this would need to be checked and done a VW dealership - runs about 1hr labor
