my insurance company sent me some money to pay my insurance claims i did not know who to pay i put the money in the bank but i had to use it before i received the bill for payment of my medical expenses what legal action can be taken against me

Answer

As long as your claims were valid, then the insurer is obligated to reimburse you. However, if you don't pay the providers, then they may sue you on the debt. At which point, your insurer will hav satisfied its claim to you and it will have no further responsibility.

 

Now, if your claims were fraudulent, i.e., invented to get money from the insurer, that would be insurance fraud and you could be criminally prosecuted.

 

But, if you just chose not to pay the bill to the businesses that provided you services in connection with your insurance claims, that's not a fraud and you have no liability.
