Question
I live in UK where sulpiride is not used for depression or anxiety but am taking 50mg - 100mg on and off. I have suffered from depression for 12 months this time but seem to be unable to take anti-depressants. Can sulpiride help with pretty severe depression? I am 54 and have atrial fibrillation and take beta-blocker and aspirin. Hope you can advise.

Optional Information
Age: 54; Male, United Kingdom
Already Tried:
I have tried several SSRI's such as prozac but only for a few days not long enough to see if they would help with depression. I got side effects such as palpitations, vomiting etc. Have recently tried amitriptalyne in low doses (10mgs) but this also seemed to make me ill.
I have been taking sulpiride (50-100mgs) Is this enough for depression?
I have tried St. John's wort and SAM-e with no effect.
Meditation, cranio sacral, polarity and REIKI.
Please can you advise if sulpiride will lift my terrible depression or any thing else?
I am very down, weak, no appetite, need to go overseas but am too depressed to do anything.
I have had no help from Drs or councillors.
