Question

Hi, i am concerned about a neighbors dog that keeps barking at me from the other end of the neighborhood. I know a neighbors dog is none of my business but i am just concerned on what this means. You see, I walk around my neighborhood all the time. When I come out of my house at night or day, like closing the outside door, or turning the outside light on, or when I begin to walk down the street the dog begins barking. I have experimented and I know for sure the dog is barking at me and I know this sounds crazy but it is true. THE ANNOYING THING IS THIS DOG BARKS AT ME FROM AT LEAST 500 METERS (1/2 KILOMETERS) AWAY!!!!!!! It is unbeliveable! What is wrong with this dog?

Answer

Hi,

Thanks for writing.

It may be that this dog does bark at you - dogs do that.

My concern is why this upsets you so much -- what is it about a dog barking at you that you find so disturbing?
