How do I refasten the one end of the exterior plastic door trim (cladding) on a Vibe that popped off its mounting screw?

Bending the cladding slightly to try to push or slide its slotted flange back over the mount

The cladding is on the bottom of the passenger door, and is loose at the rear portion, but it is otherwise solidly fixed to the metal of the door at its other fastening points (which appear to be some type of screw or bolt with a head).
