Hello,
The ac unit is made by Goodman. The thermostat is most likely a Honeywell.
First of all, you have a blower unit inside and an ac unit sitting outside. Is the outside unit running?

Great,
Now if you go to the furnace inside is the bower running and sending air through the ducts ok?
now.....how long has the unit been running without seeing the temp go down?
You will need to set the thermostat again and it most likely has a 5 minute delay before it will kick on.
Now....have you checked the air filter yet?

Attached is a link for the outdoor unit.
Okay, the unit is running again. The air filter looks pretty dirty. Can a dirty air filter cause it to get this warm in the house? I took the air filter out.
Yes ...poor airflow is the number 1 reason for air conditioning issues.
I recommend you get a new air filter...set for 76....and then see if it responds better. I am avilable for follow up.
There is the manual link again for your outdoor unit.
Let me know if you need further assistance.

The filter was plugged so the unit is most likely frozen over.
Do this for 45 minutes as a test and I think you will see a big difference....
turn thermostat to "off"......and Fan switch to "on".....wait 45 minutes. This should thaw the coil that I believe is frozen up. Try that and then set back to "cool" and get back with me.
You are very welcome!I am glad it worked out for you.
