Question

I have a whirlpool standard cleaning gas range with electric oven control. the display is flashing F5. I push off/cancel and it stops but repetes within 30 to 60 seconds. I know F5 is the code for the door switch but my oven has no visable door switch. Is there anything I can do to corect this?

Light switch is on the electronic display.

that is what i though ,,, the only fix is to replace the control board ,,, if you like me to dig up the part number please tell me the color of the display on your range / thanks Larry

F5 Board failure Replace control board (also called ERC or clock).
