My two year old Whirlpool Cabrio Washer is frequently shutting down just a few minutes into Normal cycle with a fault "F-1" being displayed. Have to shut it down & recycle - sometimes two or three times to get it to continue. Couple time the "F-1" came on with 20 minutes left in the Normal cycle. My wife passed away and I can't find the instruction book for my washer. What does "F-1" indicate and Can you help me or do I need to call in a Whirlpool repairman.

the F! is the fault code for a bad control board ,,, the part number for the board is W10189966 and it cost $165.99 online at www3.sears.com and to replace it you take the screws out on the back of the control panel and tilt it forward to access it and replace it ,,, its #1 in this picture / thanks and have a good day ,,, Larry
