have a cat less than a year old and she's losing the hair on her ears

Answer

Hi there, dad! It is possible if your cat has been spayed that she is suffering from a hormone responsive dermatitis. This would look just like only hair loss. If the ears look raw or irritated, she could have an infection or a fungal infection. Also, if she is scratching at them, it could also be an allergic reaction to something.

If any of these sound familiar, you will have to see your vet for treatment. If it is the hormone responsive dermatitis, it only needs to be treated if it gets worse
