Question
I am a 55 year old professional who went through a divorce a year or so ago. Because of the divorce, and the events leading up to it, my credit rating is in bad shape. I earn good income, about $60,000 a year, but I need an unsecured loan for about $2,500 soon, but I just cannot find a lender who will approve me for a regular installment loan. I can get "payday loans all day long, but I do not want to get into that trap if at all possible. I have surfed the internet for hours, and can't find anything that doesn't end up being a scam. Can you suggest some legitimate sources for a loan like this? I understand that I'll likely have to pay a big interest rate, but I have to start somewhere.
